The summer of 2012 was the first summer of many where I visited the mountains of North Carolina. Since then, I have dream to once again return during the summer and feel free from everything around me. The mountains and forests would feel boundless; much further than I could ever go. Some of the mountains and trees go off the base to show this limitlessness that the forests and mountains conveyed.
The river would flow from under a bridge to the mountains. The river was fairly shallow near the cabin, hence how the river does not dig far into the bass wood. Though, I remember the water always being clear and cold whenever I crossed it.
Those woods always represented a familiarity with nature that I have not felt anywhere else.
